SamStats Consulting is led by experienced professionals in statistics, data science, research and evidence-based decision support.
Founder & Director
Dr. Mutua Kilai, PhD
Dr. Mutua Kilai is the Founder and Director of SamStats Consulting and has extensive experience in statistics, data science, research and quantitative analysis.
He holds a PhD in Applied Statistics from the Pan African University Institute for Basic Sciences, Technology and Innovation (PAUSTI), a Master of Science in Applied Statistics from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics with First Class Honours from JKUAT.
His research experience spans statistics, data science and public health. He has authored and co-authored more than 32 peer-reviewed publications and has contributed to the development and application of advanced statistical methods.
He has also developed five R packages used internationally to support statistical analysis, methodological research and data-driven applications.
